68 ° north, beyond the Arctic Circle.

A huge wall rises in front of the novice sailor that I am.

The Lofoten archipelago is bristling peaks of granite, like to protect the Vestfjord from storms of the Norwegian Sea. Home to small fishermens villages previously entirely vested in the miraculous cod, Lofoten reveal a fabulous playground. Tourism is in vogue in the arctic islands, but the terrain and the spongy bog effectively preserve a nature as rich as fragile.
