Patiently leveled by glaciers, the peaks of the Dovrefjell massif are often plump and their easy-going style contrasts with the wilderness which serves as a backdrop. The tundra unwind its carpet under legs and hooves of typically arctic animals, like the muskox (Ovibos moschatus). In February, when the sun begins timidly to warm up the landscape still prisoner of snow, I meet this strange animal stubbornly resisting the long and cold bite of winter.
